CONSTRUCTION H&S AWARENESS (UPDATE)
DESIGNED FOR
Designed for construction operatives who have previously received health and safety awareness training who wish to update their knowledge.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of this course trainees will be aware of their legal duties and responsibilities, the major hazards they may encounter when working in construction and the current standards of control they will be required to achieve to comply with the law.
COURSE CONTENT
- Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 – Employers / Employee Duties;
- Health and Safety Laws Relevant to Construction and it’s Enforcement;
- Accidents;
- Planning, Risk Assessment and Method Statements;
- The High 5 - HSE Hazard Priorities;
- Working at Height;
- Ladders and Steps;
- Tower Scaffolds;
- Hand Arm Vibration;
- Noise at Work;
COURSE DURATION
This is a 1 day course. We can however also organise an abbreviated 1/2 day course for companies which can be held at our training facilities or in house.DATES & LOCATION

COURSE FEE
£165 + VAT (£193.88) per person incl. light refreshments, course material.
Our in-house training courses start at £50 + VAT (£58.75) per person with a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 people per course.
